Where possible, we encourage people to walk or cycle to the festival, especially if you are local to Ocean Grove! It takes the pressure off parking and it's the most ecofriendly way to travel!! :)
If, however, you have come from further afield and need to drive, try to carpool where possible. Parking is available in the streets surrounding the Ocean Grove Park and in the Coles carpark.
If you decide to take the bus, there are a few routes - from Geelong to Ocean Grove, via Barwon Heads and from Geelong to Queenscliff via Ocean Grove. Check out the maps and details HERE(https://mcharrys.com.au/route-maps/)
No. You don't need a ticket to enter the One Planet Festival.
We appreciate everyone who has pre booked a ticket as it has helped us to better plan for the festival and future festivals. So thank you! But we are absolutely welcoming walk-ins on the day!
We are partnering with the fantastic B-Alternative who are helping us ensure the festival is zero waste.
All food and drinks vendors will be using reusable plates, bowls and cups so it is essential that you don't take any of these away from the festival. We will have well signposted bins for all food scraps and containers so please make sure you put your dishes in the correct place. We will have bin fairies on site helping out as well. :)
We are a not-for-profit festival, so any loss of dishes takes money away from projects that need it! Thank you in advance!!
All food waste will be collected by Farm My School who will be composting the scraps to be used on their amazing projects! Come visit the Farm My School team on the day to chat to them about their initiative!
If you bring any food or drinks containers to the festival, we ask that you take your rubbish with you.
Thank you!!
Yes- we will have some toilets at the festival as there are no permanent toilets in the park. If you do need baby changing facilities the closest are in the Coles car park.
Raffle tickets are available from our One Planet Festival info tent and will be available on the festival entrance as well.
Tickets are $5 for one, or $10 for three.
The raffle will be announced on the main stage around 3.45pm- just before the amazing Bob Evans takes the stage!!
All proceeds go towards festival costs, as a 100% not for profit event, the festival is volunteer run and only possible thanks to the City of Greater Geelong, our sponsors and the generosity of our community.
Our festival scavenger hunt is a great opportunity to interact with some of our community groups and businesses.
1. Scavenger hunt cards will be available from the One Planet Festival Info tent and on entrance to the festival.
2. Answer the questions on the card as you explore the festival.
3. Once you've answered all the questions, return the card to the info tent for your chance to win some great prizes including a Rip Curl Backpack!!
