One planet festival 2026!!
To everyone who supported our second One Planet Festival in Ocean Grove, we thank you!
Without the incredible engagement from our volunteers, festival partners, community groups, local businesses, and the Geelong & Bellarine Community, it wouldn't have been the same!
Festival Impact!
🙏 Over 80 parents and community members volunteered their time and energy to bring the day to life
👭 🏢 80 community groups and businesses participated
🏫 6 local schools contributed through art, education displays and performances
👨👩👧👦 More than 2,000 people attended across the day
🗑 1,442 single-use items avoided through reusable systems
🥡 611 litres of single-use food packaging prevented from landfill
🚮 Less than 120 litres of total landfill waste generated (around half a bin!)
👩🌾 Food waste composted locally through Farm My School
👕 14kg of textile waste saved through compostable festival t-shirts
